Tall windows run along one side of the bed, and what they show is the town in layers: rooftops dropping down the slope, then a line of hills behind them. The balcony looks over the same spread of rooftops, and its photo was taken at sunset.
The room has exposed timber beams, a wooden floor, a double bed and a kettle on the bedside table. Along one wall is a wide shelf with two chairs, which is where you would set up a laptop. There is also a wall-mounted TV, a wardrobe and a pedestal fan. The balcony floor is stone, with wicker armchairs round a small low table. One photo shows a second bedroom with a striped quilt.
